About 16 years ago, my husband and I moved from the city to the country. The house we found was on a large piece of property and the backyard consisted of 5 wooded acres. When we first moved, we had one cat (Rusty) who was a stray I had adopted several years earlier.

A few days after we moved in, I noticed a small black tortie on our back porch looking somewhat undernourished. Me being me, had to get some of Rusty’s food and share it with the very reluctant, but hungry cat. After several days of feeding her on the back porch, we decided to call her “Mama Cat” as she seemed to have two cats following her all the time. One was a little tortie (about 6 months old) that looked just like Mama Cat, so we called her “Junior” not knowing that all torties are female. The other one was a little tiny kitten about 5 weeks old that was just beautiful with a round little face, black and white markings and her back was brown and black striped. She had four white paws, and her neck was snow white. She bounced all the way up to the back door and talked the whole way! Of course, if I opened the door – even a little crack – she would rush off back into the woods (talking the entire way). We both fell in love with “Luna” from the first day we saw her.

After a few weeks, she began to get used to us – and especially the daily food. Rusty took to her, and we finally brought her into the house when she was barely 6 months old. I noticed she was gaining a LOT of weight and began to think she was pregnant. My husband was convinced that she was just filling out. A few weeks later he delivered her first and only litter of four kitties in our hallway. Luna was happy to have that over with and although she was a wonderful lap cat, she was a horrible mother!

We got her fixed and adopted out all but one of her kittens. We kept “Baby” for almost four years before she transitioned out of her little body due to a heart condition which caused a stroke. But Luna – Luna was with us for almost 16 years. She gave us such joy and was almost always happy, loving and had a huge personality. Luna always thought she wanted to be an “only child” but loved her cat family – first Rusty and Baby. Later, Junior, the other kitty that came with Mama Cat daily and was always with Luna. We adopted Jr. about four years into our finding her (or her finding us). So, Luna’s cat family grew from one to two, three and then five and more. She never found it difficult to express herself – hissing at spitting when she was upset, snuggling when she needed love, crawling up on any available lap, sharing a cat bed with whoever she could and all the while talking.

My husband – who was never an animal person until he met me – loved Luna. She stole his heart. It has been proven through research that petting a cat (or dog) can lower blood pressure and relax people. Luna always had this effect on everyone. She loved everyone and wasn’t afraid to let them know – “Hi, my name’s Luna – you’re here to see me, right?!”

Two years ago, Luna started developing large tumors on her back. After two surgeries to remove the cancer – she was still full of life and wanting to express her love to everyone. When we realized she needed an additional surgery, I tuned in several times to Luna’s higher self (or soul) to see if she was ready to go and heard “yes.” After reaching out to two friends – one an intuitive working with the Akashic Records and the other a physic medium – they both agreed Luna was ready to leave. Our vet was so kind in coming to our house and my husband held Luna while she transitioned out. We both felt our hearts ache that day.

So, why am I sharing this story with everyone? Well, Luna is amazing. We know that if she hadn’t found us and spent her life with us (indoors) – that she wouldn’t have survived long in the woods as she would have tried to make friends with the wildlife and been someone’s dinner. Luna loved life – and everything in life.

Luna has visited several times since leaving last year, but today was special. Today was her anniversary of leaving this earthly existence and she came to us early this morning. She announced her arrival with her resounding “I’m here – I’m here!!!” Just as she had done for so many years. She was happy, loving and so glad to see us for just a few hours. She went through the house (talking the entire time), wanted to sit on Daddy’s lap, visited all the other cats, and shared that she is doing well. She thanked us for being part of our family and said that she was busy doing work elsewhere now but would see us once we left this existence.

Living with Luna and knowing her – while she was embodied on earth in her little cat suit and now, while being a light being - is truly a gift. She is love and continues to show me how miraculous life is – in every form. The love and kindness she continues to share is incredible.

ree

Remember to love – love each day. Remember to have memories of those who have transitioned out. Luna shared some wonderful memories with us. We are grateful that she was and is still part of our lives. Luna reminds me that nothing is ever really gone – it just changes. She is like the tree in Fall losing leaves only to sprout new ones in the Spring. Both versions of the tree are beautiful and memorable.

We love you Luna ~

In most places in the Country, November represents a transition of seasons from Fall into Winter. The key here is “transition”. November represents the sacred warrior serving as a reflection of our individual internal struggles. November encourages us to look at our priorities, energy, and inner strength.

There are two Animal Totems of November – One is the snake or serpent if you are born from November 1 through the 22 – which is symbol of transformation and regeneration. Obvious for the month of November.

If you are born on November 23 through the end of the month – the second totem is an owl – providing intuition, knowledge, and clairvoyance with an ability to unmask deception.

November 2 is observed as All Souls’ Day, in Roman Catholicism. This is a day to pay tribute of those who were faithful and have now passed, that were baptized Christians and believed to be in purgatory because they died with the guilt of lesser sins on their souls.

November 11 is well known as Veterans Day in the United States: a day we honor military veterans. November 11 is also observed as Remembrance Day in many other countries. However, there are Numerologists who believe that November 11 is the luckiest day of the year (both the day and month being 11) bringing full potential for wish-granting. The number 1111 is an angel number. Angel numbers are number sequences (usually made of three or four digits) and communicate messages from your guardian angels and the spiritual universe that offer insight, wisdom, and direction.

ANGEL NUMBER 1111

According to Joanne Sacred Scribes - “Angel Number 1111 signifies that an energetic gateway has opened for you, and this will rapidly manifest your thoughts into your reality. There is an opportunity opening up for you, and your thoughts are manifesting them into form at lightning speed. Angel Number 1111 is like the bright light of a flashbulb. It means that the Universe has just taken a snapshot of your thoughts and is manifesting your ideas, thoughts and beliefs into material form, creating your experiences and realities.” So, November 11 is a special time for manifesting your thoughts into reality.

November 12th in India is one of the most significant festivals – Diwali. The name Diwali is derived from the Sanskrit word Deepavali meaning 'Line of Lamps', or the festival of lights. It's a five-day celebration that includes lots of food, fireworks, colored sand, and special candles and lamps. The Goddess Lakshmi (the deity of wealth) is mainly worshiped during Diwali for happiness, prosperity, and fame.

Then, of course, in the United States, we also observe Thanksgiving which according to some Christian beliefs is a day to ask God for forgiveness and express gratitude. In 1863, Lincoln believed that Thanksgiving might help to unite the divided country and made it an official holiday.

Overall November is a month bringing in an abundance of energies and connects with spiritual awakening, enlightenment, divine influence, and manifesting change. Enjoy the cooling weather, express gratitude, and accept new challenges appearing for your highest good. It’s a wonderful time of the year and the entry of holidays which bring higher frequencies from the abundance of happiness and joy being expressed throughout the collective consciousness.

Each of us comes into this “human” existence from some other existence. What exactly is that? As a child, I remember the question of “where do we come from” and “why are we here”. Also – looking in the mirror and wondering when my body will grow up, but that is for another blog.

In a recent channeling of the collective consciousness known to me as “Samuel” I received some very detailed information about human existence and how it overlaps and intertwines with the etheric or higher self. The etheric self is our natural state, yet we know very little about it. Our etheric body is constant and directly aligned with our higher soul-self.

Doctors and scientists have studied the human body for hundreds of years and are still finding new and fascinating information. What we currently know of the past is that the practice of traditional Chinese medicine precedes modern western medicine by thousands of years. Acupuncture and Chinese herbal remedies date back to around 300 bce. When I Google what is known of the etheric body several interesting items came up.

The etheric body can be characterized as the life force also present in the plant kingdom. It maintains the physical body's form until death. At that time, it separates from the physical body and the physical reverts to natural disintegration.

Additionally, I found that in 1923, Rudolph Steiner described various aspects of the human being which included the etheric body, astral body, spirit self and other aspects.

ree

Although there seems to be an awareness that we are more than just a very complex design with a skeleton, muscles, nerves, veins, blood, various organs, skin, hair, cells and much more there is little if anything known of the etheric body.

So, getting back to the information that Samuel shared with me. Samuel stated that the human form and the energetic form are not just overlaid but are intrinsically connected and interface with each other to become one. The only diagrams, pictures or images of the etheric interface usually shows a solid image around a human illustrated as light. However, what I was shown was much more complex and detailed.

The only images of an etheric self are not only inaccurate but outdated. In essence this is as antiquated an idea and depiction as that of cave men drawing stick figures imitating humans. (Please see the detailed drawing of the human body presented here):

ree

Obviously, this is a bit extreme, and we now know so much more than the above drawing, but this is a good example of what we still don’t know about the etheric body and how it correlates and interfaces with the human body.

So - what DO we know???

We know that the etheric or energy body that is within, interwoven and around each human (animal and plant) existence consists of at least 13 chakras (cakra in Sanskrit meaning “wheel”) which influence the body’s well being. There are some theories that there are as many as 114 different chakras. Below is an illustration of the most commonly known seven charkas.

This complex energy system has been known since 1500 bce originating in India. The chakras are a wheel of energy directing the flow of subtle energy within the physical body to assist the organs and mind.

We are also aware of meridians (small energy wheels) and approximately 12 of them distribute energy throughout the body in a similar fashion to the circulating system moving blood and nutrients to the body’s cells. Twelve major meridians and the meridian lines are all connected to major organs.

ree

When the charkas and meridians are balanced, open, and working properly – energy can run through them freely and harmony exists between the physical body, mind, and spirit. According to some yoga traditional beliefs, the charkas regulate the meridians. If there is an imbalance in the chakra it can affect specific meridians causing a physical or mental effect. A blockage in a meridian prevents blood and energy from flowing smoothly and the affected area presents by feeling pain, tingling, stiffness, bloating or numbness.

Just from the current knowledge available, it seems that the etheric body is more complex than just an energy flow around or within the body. The etheric self is as complex and multi-layered as the human body. Visualize it being interwoven with all the complexity known of the skeleton, muscles, nerves, and organs. No wonder the doctors and scientists haven’t dug into this yet. We may not yet have a good visual representation of what the etheric looks like or how complex it is – but we are beginning to get a glimpse of it.

Through this sliver of knowledge about our energy system we have begun to awaken to the fact that some (if not most) physical issues can be linked to energy flow or blockages within our system. This makes sense if the chakras are connected to the meridians and meridians are linked to organs. Remember the childhood rhyme “the hip bones connected to the leg bone; the leg bones connected to the ankle bone”?

BEING human is living within at least two complex systems –the physical and the etheric. It is a wonderful blend of both working in unison.

ree

If you had an injury in a prior life that negatively affected specific charkas or meridians, it might very well manifest again in this life. For example – I was recently asked to do some energy healing on a man who had numbness in both feet (more in one foot than the other) and issues with his lower legs. Upon performing an energy scan of his feet and legs and tuning into my Divine team for direction and guidance – I found that one leg had residual injuries to the knee and thigh from bullet wounds and several other incidents in prior lives. Once the old energy was removed and healed, the leg had more energy flow, became warm to touch and the pain lessened too almost nothing. The other leg had severe injuries as well (from prior lives) with the foot and ankle being badly damaged from frostbite. Currently the man had no feeling in his toes.

ree

Once the damaged, inactive flow of energy was removed (which I saw as a red goo) the healing started. After about 30 minutes of moving good healthy energy into his feet, toes, heel, and ankle – I then reconnected the energy flow to the rest of his leg. He said he had feeling in his foot again and it has remained that way as of the date of posting this blog. This is a perfect example of how unresolved physical or energy trauma from past lives can be brought forward and healed in the current lifetime.

Experiencing an ache or pain, feeling sluggish or just worn out is an indicator to look at the etheric part of you identifying what seems out of balance, or a blockage is preventing energy from flowing properly. Remember that food also feeds both systems (the physical body and etheric).

If you have ever had an adverse effect from something you’ve eaten - do you recall if it manifested in the physical before you felt it energetically? For me there have been times when I feel run down with no “energy”. This can originate from a multitude of reasons – not enough sleep, interacting with others, channeling a lot, improper diet, or anxiety. A good way to address this is to do a short meditation to tune into yourself – your body – your being. Also, light yoga or stretching may give some insight as to what needs to be addressed – either physically or energetically. I have never found an Epson salt bath to be anything short of a miracle to ease almost anything – physical, mental, or spiritual.

After you have done a self-assessment, if you still haven’t resolved the issue – then reach out to someone who can assist you with energy work and/or charka balancing. Although we don’t know everything about the etheric body – we now know the energy is real and it directly affects how our organs work as well as how we physically feel. It’s wonderful being human and we are just discovering how miraculous we really are.
